What is "Tagum City eRehistro"?

The Tagum City eRehistro: “Your Civil Registrar Online” is the first ever electronic civil registration portal of the City Government of Tagum through the initiative of the Office of the City Civil Registrar. This innovation enables the Tagumenyos including other people from different parts of the globe who have specific civil registry needs in Tagum to transact in the office through its official website, www.ccrotagum.com. This paves the way for a modernized approach that replaces the traditional civil registry processes and provides contribution to a more productive delivery of the office’s transactions.

Individuals can now avail their civil registry services such as on-time and late registration of Births (if born outside medical institutions), Deaths (if occurred outside medical institutions), Application for Marriage License and “Maling Dokumento Mo, Iwasto Ko (MDMIK)” (to provide remedies to civil registry concerns and problems) anywhere and anytime - 24/7 through the use of mobile phones, tablets and computers connected to the internet. 

This innovation was correspondingly stimulated in response to the call of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to improve strategies through digital information, in line with the declaration of the years 2015 to 2024 as Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Decade, with a theme “Get every Pinoy and Pinay in the Picture!” pursuant to Proclamation No. 1106. It is also consistent with the Local Chief Executive, Rey T. Uy’s top priority of providing “#AksyonAgad” delivery of public services for the constituents’ best interest. In a finer way, this holds influence to completely change how public services are delivered as it will give the citizens, including the Indigenous Peoples (IPs), Muslims and poorest sector with new, simple and fast ways to interact with the government at their fingertips.

With its simplified procedure, it gives various benefits for the clients when transacting in the office. It mainly helps shorten the time of processing as they can no longer stand in long queue and reduces incurred expenses particularly on transportation, since they may inquire right at the comfort of their homes. Accordingly, this creates a hassle-free environment that brings forth convenience for the public. 

More essentially, Tagum City eRehistro treats client’s information with confidentiality and ensures that all voluntarily provided personal and sensitive information are safe and protected. This is due to the website’s firm encryption under Google security service and the office’s strict adherence with the Republic Act No. 10173 or the “Data Privacy Act” and other related laws, rules and regulations.

How to avail?

1. Go to the official website of the Tagum City eRehistro, www.ccrotagum.com.

3. Click ‘I Consent and Certify’ button after carefully reading and agreeing to the statements  provided under Consent and Certification. 

4. Log in to your Google account.

5. Follow the instructions, fill in the details required in the Google form and upload a  scanned/photographed copy of any of your valid IDs. For those who will avail of the MDMIK, upload the scanned/photographed copy of the document to be corrected.

6. Click the ‘Submit’ button.

7. Send us a direct message on our Facebook Messenger, m.me/ccrotagumcity, with the following content:

Once the Registration Form is submitted, the office will assess and evaluate your transaction. Thereafter, the CCRO will contact your Messenger account and phone number. Its purpose is to provide you with an Assessment Form that contains the specific requirements, fees (applicable to Birth, Death and Application for Marriage License only)  and recommendations, as applicable, that you need to comply with before you visit the office for final processing of your civil registry transactions.
