"Kasalan ni Mayor" ties the knots for 4 couples

“Love, protect, and support each other – ‘yan yung obligasyon ninyo bilang mag-asawa.”

These were the insightful words shared by Presiding Judge Arlene I. Lirag-Palabrica of Regional Trial Court, 11th Judicial Region, Branch 31, as she solemnized the marital union of four (4) couples earlier today at the J.V. Ayala Hall, City Hall Complex, in lieu of Mayor Rey T. Uy.

This wedding ceremony, dubbed as “Kasalan Ni Mayor”, is a regular monthly program of the City Civil Registrar’s Office which aims to establish the legality of family as the basic unit of the society and resolves the illegitimacy issues of children. In facilitating this event, its officers and staff also displayed their abilities of planning and organizing a gorgeous wedding.
