LCR Iligan City conducts benchmarking activity at LCR Tagum City

The City Civil Registrar’s Office of Iligan City, Lanao del Norte (CCRO Iligan for brevity), headed by City Civil Registrar Atty. Yussif Don Justin F. Martil, REB, visited the City Civil Registrar’s Office (CCRO) for a cross-learning activity.

During the visit, Acting City Civil Registrar Editha G. McCartney shared to CCRO Iligan the best practices, digital innovations, program implementation, and strategies developed by CCRO to improve the civil registry services in Tagum City. Highlighting the positive impact of digitalizing the office processes, Ms. McCartney presented the “Tagum City Local Civil Registry System (TCLCRS)” and the “Extended Tagum City Local Civil Registry System (eTCLCRS)”, which streamline the preparation and processing of the civil registry documents, such as Birth, Marriage, and Death Certificates, Legal Instruments, and Petitions.

ACCR McCartney also introduced the CCRO’s latest digital innovation, “Tagum City e-Rehistro: Your Civil Registrar Online”, which offers a convenient way to access CCRO’s services online, anytime and anywhere, such as: late registration of birth, application for marriage license, registration of death, “eRehistro: Batang Tagumenyo”, and “Maling Dokumento Mo, Iwasto Ko”.

During the office tour, Ms. McCartney showed the personnel of CCRO Iligan the CCRO’s way of filing and storing civil registry documents, as well as how the office monitors personnel’s performances through a Client Satisfaction and Feedback Form.
