"Kasalan ni Mayor" ties the knots for 8 couples

The Office of the City Civil Registrar was delighted to have facilitated the union of eight (8) lovely couples who vowed to love and respect each other as husbands and wives before Mayor Rey T. Uy, as solemnizing officer, earlier today at J.V. Ayala Hall, City Hall Complex.

During the ceremony, Mayor Uy shared fatherly and practical advices on how to take future challenges that the couples may face in their marriage. He also emphasized to the couples to prioritize responsible parenting as they embark on their journey as husband and wife.

This wedding ceremony dubbed as “Kasalan Ni Mayor” is a regular monthly program of the City Civil Registrar’s Office (CCRO) to institutionalize families as basic units of the society and to resolve the illegitimacy issues of children. In this event, the CCRO Officers and Staff took charge in the preparation, decoration, and restoration of the venue.
