CCRO Tagum offers civil registration services to residents of Barangay Visayan Village

To provide timely and relevant information on the implementation of Republic Act No. 11055, otherwise known as the “Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Act”, the Philippine Statistics Authority Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical Office conducted the “PhilSys Information and Awareness Campaign” last January 29, 2024 at the Gymnasium of Barangay Visayan Village.

Being one of PSA’s partners and stakeholders, the Office of the City Civil Registrar was invited in the said event to conduct Mobile Civil Registration (Philsys Birth Registration Assistance Project) and Maling Dokumento Mo Iwasto Ko (MDMIK) Program with Barangay officials, health workers, functionaries, and purok leaders of Brgy. Visayan Village as participants and clients. Among the civil registry services availed by the clients were: Late Registration of Birth; Correction of Clerical Error (RA 9048); Affidavit to Use the Surname of the Father (RA 9255); Legitimation (RA 9255); Philippine ID Registration; and Requests for PSA copies of Birth Certificates.
