Students, teachers, and parents avails Mobile Civil Registration services

To address the issues and problems related to the unregistered birth certificates of students, the Office of the City Civil Registrar was invited by the Parent-Teacher Association of La Filipina National High School to conduct Mobile Civil Registration (PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project), Maling Dokumento Mo, I-Wasto Ko (MDMIK) Program last January 17, 2024 at the La Filipina National Highschool.

To maximize the objectives of the activity, the office also invited the Philippine Statistics Authority Provincial Statistical Office – Davao del Norte to conduct on-site Registration for Philippine ID and issuance of printed ePhilIDs during the activity.

A total of 128 students, teachers, and parents took advantage of the activity and availed civil registration services, such as:

1. Late Registration of Birth;

2. Correction of Clerical Error (RA 9048);

3. Affidavit to Use the Surname of the Father (RA 9255);

4. Legitimation (RA 9255); 

5. Philippine ID Registration;

6. Request for PSA copies of Birth Certificates, and among others.
