"Kasalan ni Mayor" ties the knots for 14 couples

Fourteen (14) lovely couples joined their love, dreams, and hopes to create a family through a beautiful and romantic civil wedding ceremony held last February 8 at 9:00 AM at the Meditation House, Tagum City Hall Complex. 

Prior to the exchanging of wedding vows by the couples, Mayor Rey T. Uy, the Solemnizing Officer, passed fatherly and practical advices on how to take future challenges that the couples may face in their marriage. Mayor Uy emphasized that a successful marriage is one wherein the husband and the wife can raise successful and responsible children who will take care of them in their golden age.

This wedding ceremony, dubbed as “Kasalan Ni Mayor”, is a regular monthly program of the Office of the City Civil Registrar. In facilitating this event, its officers and staff displayed their abilities of planning and organizing a gorgeous wedding. The event was made even more special by the Tagum City Band, which filled the venue with romantic music.
