CityMall goers avails of Mobile Civil Registration services

In line with the celebration of “34th Civil Registration Month celebration,” and to offer working Tagumenyos a convenient access to Civil Registration Services, the City Civil Registrar’s Office (CCRO) conducted Mobile Civil Registration (PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project) and Maling Dokumento Mo, I-Wasto Ko (MDMIK) Program in various shopping malls of the city every Saturday for the month of February.

CCRO organized the first wave of said program at City Mall of Tagum wherein a total of 138 transactions were facilitated by the office, which include:

• Late Registration of Birth; 

• Request for PSA Copy of Birth, Marriage, and Death Certificates;

• Correction of Clerical Error and Change of First Name (RA 9048); 

• Legitimation (RA 9255);

• Affidavit to Use the Surname of the Father (RA 9255); and

• Free Legal Consultation.

Through this initiative, Tagumenyos who cannot visit the office during weekdays by reason of work are now given the opportunity to attend to their civil registration needs and concerns on a weekend.
