Tagum LCR personnel conduct Bayanihan for the Care for School Chairs Program

In the spirit of Bayanihan, the Office of the City Civil Registrar volunteered to polish school chairs as part of the “Care for School Chairs Program” of the City Government of Tagum.

The school chairs will be donated to public elementary and high school within and outside Tagum City to provide comfortable seats to the learners and to address the scarcity of chairs in public schools. The materials used for these school chairs were confiscated logs by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, which were donated to the City Government of Tagum for this purpose.

Several agencies and individual Tagumenyos from different public and private sectors also volunteered their time and donated materials, such as paints, for the said project.
