"Kasalan ni Mayor" ties the knots for 10 couples

“Ang successful nga kaminyoon, pag-abot sa tumoy naa atong mga anak muagak sa atua - for better or for worse.”

These are among the wise counsels that Mayor Rey T. Uy imparted to the ten (10) couples as he solemnized their marital union this morning at the Meditation House, City Hall Complex.

This wedding ceremony, dubbed as “Kasalan Ni Mayor”, is a regular monthly program of the City Civil Registrar’s Office which aims to establish the legality of family as the basic unit of the society and resolves the illegitimacy issues of children. In facilitating this event, its officers and staff also displayed their abilities of planning and organizing a gorgeous wedding.
