Information Dissemination Drive dubbed "Tagumenyo, Kabalo Ka Ba?" Officially Aired
The "Tagumenyo, Kabalo Ka Ba?" information dissemination campaign, which was officially launched last February 13, 2023 during the flag raising ceremony of the City Government of Tagum, aims to inform city residents about information related to civil registry documents and the ease of processing them.
The program is spearheaded by the Office of the City Civil Registrar. It is anchored on the goal of providing a more efficient and comprehensive delivery of civil registry services throughout the city.
The Tagum City LCR believes that information dissemination is one of the key factors in the success of their mandate. Thus, the campaign educates city residents on the different types of civil registry documents, their importance, and the ease of processing their applications with the office.
The first episode of this campaign is entitled Legitimation, and it discusses the ease of processing legitimation for illegitimated children through a valid marriage of their parents. It showed the various aspects of legitimation such as the forms to fill out, the information that needs to be provided, the documents to be submitted, and the place on where to file the Legitimation.
Regular episodes of the “Tagumenyo, Kabalo Ka Ba?” campaign will be released once a month to ensure that everyone is informed on the various applications and processes related to civil registry documents.
The CCRO encourages the collective effort of all city residents in developing the necessary information on the processing of their civil registry documents. Their role is essential in helping the CCRO build a data-driven and citizen-centered system that promotes good governance and efficient delivery of services.
