CCRO Tagum conducts Conference for Solemnizing Officers

The City Government of Tagum, through the Office of the City Civil Registrar, convened the first batch of Solemnizing Officers from the different religious sectors in Tagum City for a conference at the AVR 4, Tagum City Hall. 


This conference aimed to capacitate the Solemnizing Officers in the effective and efficient implementation of civil registration laws and to keep them abreast on regulations governing the institution of a legal family. The activity also served as an avenue to improve the quality, accuracy and credibility of our civil registry documents particularly the Marriage License issued and the Certificate of Marriage registered by the aforementioned office.


Among the agenda discussed in the said conference were the following:

Resource Speaker: Mr. Pepito D. Amoyen, Chief Statistical Specialist, Philippine Statistics Authority Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical Office

During the conference, issues and concerns affecting the performance of the respective duties and responsibilities of the Solemnizing Officers and the Office of the City Civil Registrar were raised and discussed.
