Some Solemnizing Officers from different religious sects in Tagum City convened in a conference organized by the Office of the City Civil Registrar on September 14, 2022 at AVR5, City Hall.

The conference aimed to update and capacitate the pastors, imams, tribal chieftains and church records officers on the Laws on Civil Registration, Marriage and on CCRO new innovation, the "Tagum City eRehistro."

Mr. Pepito D. Amoyen, Chief Statistics Specialist, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Davao del Norte shared a comprehensive discussion on the 2021 Implementing Rules and Regulations governing the Registration of Authority to Solemnize and on PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project (PBRAP) of the PSA and the City Government of Tagum.

This activity is geared towards an effective and efficient implemetation of civil registry laws that will ultimately lead to excellence delivery of civil registry services for Tagumenyos.
