The Office of the City Civil Registrar in Collaboration with the Office of the City Muslim Affairs Conducts a Conference for Muslim Solemnizing Officers

Forging a strong partnership with the Muslim Solemnizing Officers, the Office of the City Civil Registrar and the Office of the City Muslim Affairs convened in a conference, the Tagum-based Imams on November 28, 2022, at the AVR 4 of the City Hall.

The objective of the conference is to discuss and provide immediate and permanent solutions to the long-standing problem of undocumented Muslim marriages in Tagum. Also presented in the conference was the assistance that will be extended by the city government in the processing for the Imam’s application of Certificate of Registration of Authority to Solemnize Marriage (CRASM) to the PSA.

The CCRO is looking forward to a productive partnership with the Office of the City Muslim Affairs headed by the Ms. JeanyLyn Lopez, and the Muslim Solemnizing Officers. We are delighted to deliver excellence in public service to the Muslim Communities in Tagum.
