CCRO Tagum brings Mobile Civil Registration to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs)
In building a resilient, agile, and future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System, the Office of the City Civil Registrar brought its services to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the Tagum City Jail, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, last February 6, 2025.
On the same event, the PSA Davao del Norte simultaneously facilitated the PDLs’needs for a National ID as a foundational document that serves as a valid proof of their identities.
The City Health Office- Population and Development Section also conducted a Special Pre-Marriage Orientation to six (6) PDL-couples who hoped to be united in marriage on February 28 during the “Kasalan sa Piitan,” a program initiated by the Tagum City Jail management.
Recognizing the civil rights ofthe PDLs, these initiatives were prioritized as interventions to assist them in their reintegration into our society.
