PSA PSO-DavNor and Davao del Norte League of Civil Registrars conduct first-ever Provincial Roadshow
To highlight the 35th Civil Registration Month with the theme “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-Fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) System” in the Province of Davao del Norte, CCR Editha G. McCartney, Ms. Mae Elizabeth Tomado, Registration Officer lV and Ms. Odette Lou Palen, Registration Officer lll participated in the first-ever Provincial Roadshow conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Davao del Norte and the Davao del Norte League of Civil Registrars on 04 February 2025.
The roadshow started at the PSA-Davao del Norte and passed through the seven (7) out of eleven (11) local civil registry offices in Davao del Norte such as City of Tagum, Municipality of Asuncion, Municipality of Kapalong, Municipality of Talaingod, Municipality of Santo Tomas, City of Panabo City and the Municipality of Carmen. The Municipal/City Civil Registrars of New Corella, San Isidro, Braulio E. Dujali and Island Garden City of Samal also participated in the event. During this activity, all local civil registrars and some of their staff in the province visited the local civil registry offices to extend support on their programs highlighting the 35th Civil Registration Month celebration in their respective LGUs.
This initiative aimed to raise awareness on the importance of civil registration to the Filipinos in Davao del Norte and to establish and maintain a strong camaraderie among officers and staff of all local civil registry offices in the province.
As a highlight of the activity, the new set of officers of Davao del Norte League of Civil Registrars took an oath of office before Hon. Leonidas R. Bahague, Mayor of Municipality of Carmen and was witnessed by Ms. Michelle O. Maningo, Officer-in-Charge, PSA Davao del Norte:
